This is an exciting opportunity for a talented social media professional to join Capital One’s Brand Governance, Social and Content Team. As a Senior Associate supporting the Social Operations program, you will play a central role in driving the operational aspects of social media campaigns and initiatives that support enterprise and line of business strategies, facilitating the adoption of new social platforms and tools, and safeguarding the brand through strict adherence to governance and compliance standards.
As a key contributor to our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in applying a powerful combination of strategic thinking, organizational excellence, and influential communication skills to tackle complex, enterprise-wide challenges.
You will operate at the intersection of various business units, collaborating extensively with world-class professionals and subject matter experts from across the entire company. Your primary mission will be to foster cohesion, drive consistency in processes and outcomes, and secure essential cross-functional support for critical initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage the daily administration of social media management platforms, accounts, and associated tools, ensuring proper functionality, user access, and assisting with basic internal team training on platform use.
Support the enforcement and maintenance of the social media governance framework, ensuring content and campaigns consistently adhere to established best practices, brand standards, and security protocols.
Execute routine checks to ensure strict adherence to established security protocols and data privacy compliance across active social media channels.
Assist in the execution of technology implementation projects, providing support for testing and deployment of new tools, AI, and automation solutions aimed at optimizing the social media landscape.
Provide dedicated operational support and documentation to performance marketing, media, and advertising teams for the setup and execution of paid social media initiatives.
Actively collaborate with strategists, engagement, and insights teams to support effective campaign execution, assist with community management tasks, and contribute to data gathering for reporting and analytics.
Proactively contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture, and work with internal partners to document and support the implementation of social media solutions that align with their needs.
Maintain open communication and support with third-party vendors and agencies related to social media tools and services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of social media marketing experience, including paid marketing
At least 2 years of social media reporting experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of social or digital marketing experience
Experience using social media tools such as Meta Business Suite, Business Managers and Sprinklr
At least 2 years of relationship management with digital agencies or contractors
Experience managing complex processes across multiple stakeholder groups and implementing process improvements
Experience in financial services, or other highly regulated industry

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, BrandCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
