We are looking for an individual to help drive the early career strategy within our Product programs function, including the Product Development Program and the MBA Development Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience in leading projects in a well-managed way. We are looking for team-players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in some ambiguity, and have excellent communication skills.
Core responsibilities will vary but may include:
Program Execution & Support:Support the planning and execution of core program activities and signature events and initiatives. This may include partnering with cross-functional teams.
Operational Excellence: Own horizontal processes on the team including, but not limited to, budget, roster, and shared mailbox management. Document new and existing horizontal processes across the team, with a focus on maximizing team efficiency and sustainability.
Program Communications:Draft, send, and track communications to program participants, managers, and stakeholders and manage key communication channels like Slack, newsletters, and more.
Associate Experience & Change Management: Collaborate with team members to support engagement and change management for stakeholders to enhance the program experience.
Process Collaboration:Partner within your team and across the broader Students & Grads organization to ensure a cohesive experience for all program participants and stakeholders. This includes delivering on training materials, program resources, and other core activities.
Talent Management Support: Play a critical role in supporting participants, managers, and stakeholders through the various aspects of program participation and alumni development, including performance management, role matching, talent cycle delivery, and performance coaching activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience working in program or project management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or HR or a combination of both
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least two years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or consulting
Experience working at a technology company
Experience with event management
Experience interpreting metrics and trends
Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
Proficient knowledge of G Suite with strong skills in Google Sheets and Google Slides
High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $71,200 - $81,300 for HR AssociateCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
