Would you like to help build the new, expanded Global Mobility team at Capital One? Demand for international talent is rising, and these cases often move with urgency and present new challenges, so skills and persistence will be required.
As a Global Mobility team member, you’ll help top talent to relocate internationally, following up on the many details that ensure a relocation goes smoothly. You’ll also collaborate with other Global Mobility team members and our partner teams across the company to refine systems and processes. In some cases, you’ll be able to rely on existing procedures; in other cases, you’ll be expected to develop new procedures from scratch.
Although your job responsibilities will be well defined, there will also be challenges as we transform Global Mobility at Capital One. Are you willing to step up to leadership as part of this team?
What You’ll Do:
Manage each transferring associate’s case as a mini-project, from start to end. Work directly with the associate, explaining the process and answering any questions along the way.
Lead meetings for our suppliers, keeping them focused on providing the best service to our associates.
Lead meetings for our international partner teams, collaborating on handoffs and keeping them informed of each case’s status.
Work with international HR teams to develop new transfer processes.
Manage our highly detailed invoice and payroll processes.
Initiate and monitor immigration cases.
Organize Global Mobility data and documents.
The ideal candidate is:
An excellent communicator. Global Mobility is complex. You’ll be expected to explain and enforce our policies clearly, but with humanity.
Collaborative. Every day, you’ll get to work with our many, many partners across the company to solve problems and get work done. Your success will depend on how well you serve our partners- let’s seek to make our colleagues’ jobs easier!
Intellectually curious. Global Mobility gets new questions every day. Be ready to research, find the right person, ask questions, and gain new technical knowledge.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience in Project or Process Management
At least 1 year of client management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international customers, clients, or policies outside of the U.S.
Experience working with Workday and Salesforce systems
At least 2 years of experience in Project or Process Management, Tax, Payroll, Immigration, International HR, or Global Mobility
