The Enterprise Brand Governance team is responsible for protecting Capital One’s brands and its digital distinctive assets across the company. Your Responsibilities:
Day to day oversight of our brand protection and domain management processes
Manage our corporate registrar relationship with our internal and external partners
Monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives, and make recommendations on changes. Collect and analyze data for supporting recommendations.
Collect, analyze, and measure process performance data, to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership and executives; review data for trends and gaps in the process that may require additional review.
Collaborate on project teams and broader enterprise initiatives to represent business for changes that may impact department processes. May participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization, to provide input, liaise with training, and partner with groups on execution efforts.
Resolve complex problems, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate breakdowns in the process by asking the right questions and identify/involve the right stakeholders to correct breakdowns.
Build/maintain formal process documents (e.g. policies, standards, official stances, procedures, presentations, and diagrams)
Drive collaboration, set direction, manage expectations, and lead cross-functional teams
Ensure independent escalation of risks, gaps, issues, non-compliance, and concerns to executive management and functional areas
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Change Management, or Risk Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in brand protection or managing a domain portfolio
Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals and ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
At least 1 year of Financial industry experience or highly regulated industry

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $80,100 - $91,400 for Associate, BrandCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
