Capital One, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a strategic, collaborative Senior Marketing Associate to join our Card Partnerships Marketing Team. You will work across Partner Cobrand and Private Label credit card programs as a day-to-day marketing contact, driving initiatives that ladder up to an annual marketing plan and set of business goals. The Card Partnerships Marketing team represents the “voice of the customer” across a broader, cross-functional partnership team and evangelizes customer-centric, industry best practices in developing, managing and continually optimizing marketing programs. In this role, specifically, you will be responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing and creative strategies for the Card Partnerships business across multiple channels and customer segments. This role is external partner-facing.
Responsibilities:
Leads the creative strategy, development and execution for marketing initiatives across multiple marketing channels, focusing on an omni-channel approach (including digital, email, print, within stores, and/or other innovative marketing channels). Includes developing creative briefs based on project intent, providing and managing stakeholder feedback throughout development and ensuring all required updates are made in a timely manner.
Leverages customer insights, campaign performance results and partner needs when developing marketing initiative recommendations impacting marketing plan and/or creative strategy.
Oversees project management of deliverables, including campaigns, budget, timelines and results. Includes conducting marketing quality assurance prior to campaign launch. Identifies any potential issues and opportunities and appropriately escalates. Develops detailed documentation for team reference.
Supports leadership in the development of an Annual Marketing Plan, including ideation, research, channel plans and a communication and go-to-market strategy.
Supports prioritization process which includes organizing and clarifying project intent and requesting team resources.
Takes a holistic and customer-centric view on end-to-end customer experience across the lifecycle, including consistent branding and communication.
Champions the partner brand and Capital One brand, ensuring that all marketing aligns to respective brand personas, voice and style guides.
Builds and develops strong relationships with cross-functional team members and stakeholders focused on reaching shared marketing objectives and goals. This includes both Capital One internal team and partner teams including business, marketing, creative, research, legal, operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 3 years of marketing or project management experience
At least 2 years of multi-channel digital marketing experience
At least 2 years experience planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs
At least 2 years of experience managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing creative optimization frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years in the financial services industry.
At least 2 years in the retail industry.
At least 1 year of experience working in an agile environment

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, MarketingCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
