Join an exciting team which enables the talent strategy, process excellence and delivery of key HR activities across Capital One’s Commercial Bank (CML) and Financial Services (FS) Team. As the lead for Financial Services Talent Strategy and Horizontal HR Delivery you will help to deliver on key business and HR objectives, as well as shape key elements of the future strategy.
Responsibilities
Strategic Projects
Work closely with the Strategy pillar leads to enhance and deliver against the FS Strategic Pillars including:
Lead and manage key strategic initiatives from inception to completion
Help to identify, lead the generation and consistent delivery of reporting and key metrics
Identify ways to enhance and build initiatives by integrating into key talent activities
Lead the FSHR Command Center, ensuring that the FSHR and FS Tech HR team meet key process goals aligned to FS guidelines
Work closely with CML peers to scale initiatives to FS and identify FS initiatives to scale to CML to drive efficiencies and maximize impact for both teams
Horizontal
Oversee the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work)
Partner with HRBP leads to deliver a consistent set of expectations across FS and FS Tech
Leverage data from core HR processes to support the HRLT in broader decision making, support forecasting of talent needs and improve processes
Act as the ambassador for FS for key talent processes (Talent Management, Performance Management and Associate Sentiment Survey) providing and gathering feedback from broader Capital One
Work closely with team members to to connect dots and influencing across multiple cross-functional teams, client organizations and groups without direct authority, while also collaborating to identify solutions that can achieve shared results
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 3 years of people leadership experience
At least 3 years of experience leading projects
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of client facing experience
4+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
Change management and design thinking experience
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
