Sr Manager, Project Management - Commercial Bank

As a project delivery leader within the Commercial Transformation Office, you will drive a variety of high-priority projects that support the organizations strategic transformation. You will take on important and exciting responsibilities from day one, working closely with key stakeholders across the Commercial Bank. You are a service-oriented individual with strong critical thinking and organizational abilities, who is adaptable and energized by new experiences. You work with enthusiasm, determination, flexibility, and an understanding that an individual succeeds when the team succeeds. Responsibilities:

• Lead large, complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, customers, and direct reports.

• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, quickly put structure in place to move work forward

• Leverage problem solving to overcome obstacles and demonstrate flexibility to meet changing project needs

• Build relationships and partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic andtactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

• Actively pursue/develop solutions that anticipate customer/partner needs and expectations, partner with internal customers to understand and address process and associate impacts

• Use data/evidence-driven approach to determine project success criteria and measure impact

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project or program efforts

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting andcommunicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

• Lead a team of project managers and display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates

• Work with team members and peers on initiatives that drive engagement, enablement, inclusion and learning opportunities for the team

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 8 years of Project Management experience

• At least 2 years of People Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management

• 3+ years of experience in People Management

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Charlotte, NC: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Plano, TX: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
