The Risk Management Product and Enterprise External Fraud Team (RM Product/Fraud) has two distinct functions: 1) Developing Risk Management software used by thousands of Capital One associates, 2) Providing oversight of Capital One’s Enterprise External Fraud policies. RM Product/Fraud is seeking a project manager to support department operations, while also supporting broader efforts around culture and engagement. The ideal candidate will bring fresh, bold ideas to connect and engage our associates, as well as manage a body of recurring operations.
In this role you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and make an incredible impact on the RM Product and Fraud organizations. You will lead the well-managed execution of our associate engagement strategy aimed to create a strong community across RM Product/Fraud and foster an inclusive, inspiring, and fun culture. You will also have the opportunity to lead operational efforts such as department communications, town halls, and recognition.

Responsibilities:
Own and execute key associate engagement events and processes that support our team and associates such as recognition programs, town halls, etc.
Coordinate with Corporate Communications to oversee the communications calendar; maintain a critical eye to timing, overlap, appropriateness, and coordination
Lead our internal engagement team to develop content and activities that support our associate engagement strategy, such as pop-up events, and celebrating associate moments that matter
Coordinate horizontal processes and activities such as monthly business reviews
Be the champion for events, content, and to-do’s by driving engagement on Slack, messaging, and interacting with associates to create inclusion and excitement
Maintain content to ensure the content remains relevant and useful
Participate in leadership preparation efforts for key events and engagements
You’ll need to wear many hats including:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Event Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
2+ or more years of experience negotiating and executing contracts for associate events
4+ years of experience supporting senior leadership
4+ years of experience in HR, associate experience, or associate engagement roles

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
