Senior Manager, Chief Of Staff - ECP

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Chief of Staff (CoS) to join the Enterprise Consumer Product (ECP) team. Our mission is to build innovative platforms that deliver exceptional digital customer experiences and drive business growth. Supporting an Executive Vice President and their leadership team, you will drive organizational excellence by orchestrating the connective tissue of the organization—ensuring our communications, culture, and high-profile engagements reflect the high standard of the OneECP brand.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, emotionally intelligent leader passionate about clear and effective executive communication, building and maintaining a sterling organizational reputation, and delivering an unparalleled associate experience. You are an expert at partnering across functional areas and organizational boundaries to support the organization and advocate for its mission. You will develop and manage complex project plans for high-profile events and strategic routines. This is a unique opportunity to shape how an integrated product, tech, and design team operates and connects at scale.

General Responsibilities:

  • Executive Communications & Narrative: Partner with Corporate Communications to synthesize complex operational updates and strategic priorities into clear, high-impact executive communications and artifacts designed for SLT-level consumption.

  • Associate Experience Analytics & Action: Drive the orchestration of associate engagement surveys and feedback loops; synthesize sentiment data into high-context insights and lead the Chief of Staff team in developing strategic proposals to capitalize on cultural strengths and remediate organizational opportunity areas.

  • Sterling Organizational Reputation: Act as a steward for the organization’s internal and external brand, ensuring all high-profile interactions and materials reinforce ECP’s reputation for excellence and reliability.

  • High-Profile Event Orchestration: End-to-end project and content management of high-profile leadership events, from initial concept and agenda design to flawless logistical execution and post-event synthesis.

  • Cross-Boundary Partnership: Build and maintain deep relational proximity with counterparts across Product, Tech, Design, Finance, and HR to ensure seamless alignment and influence project outcomes across organizational boundaries.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Agile Delivery

  • At least 3 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions

  • At least 3 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

  • 3+ years of experience managing diverse operational functions, such as staffing, budgeting, executing high-level meetings and events

  • 3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence

  • 2+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff

  • 2+ years of experience working closely with executives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Chief of Staff











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
