The HR Data Management & Governance, within the Human Resources Line-of-Business (LoB), is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Process Manager to join our Team.
About the role:
As a Manager, Process Management within the HR Data Management & Governance team you will play a pivotal role in owning process documentation, implementation and improvements for our Data Management Control Suite to ensure alignment with EDRM guidance. This is important to mitigating Global Workforce data risk across the HR Line of Business. Your scope of work will also include management of our High Priority Usages to ensure provisioning agreements are up to date as well as provide transparency to our consumers. There may also be additional BAU activities to ensure that data management is compliant with IDM policy. In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to perform analysis and provide status reports to SLT as well as work with our HR Business Experience teams to ensure we are providing appropriate oversight for control processes.
Some qualities which will contribute to success in this role include, but are not limited to: strong verbal and written communication skills; strong process documentation skills; customer focus as you work closely with our Performing Data Stewards and Accountable Executives, previous experience in participating in data management or OCC audits, and the ability to coordinate large projects across cross-functional Teams, when needed. General Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge and experience in Data Management and Information Data Management
Strong knowledge of EDRM HPU Guidelines as well as EDRM CSE guidelines
Ability to work autonomously as well as work in the white space when needed
Manage High Priority Usage Activities by working with our producers on the appropriate data quality as well as providing transparency to our consumers to instill confidence in the data they consume.
HR Control Suite Management to ensure alignment with EDRM CSE guidelines
Documentation and Execution of Control processes as needed for Control Suite Effectiveness (to include creation of new processes in FUSE)
Data Defects Reviews
Partner with Privacy on CCPA activities as it pertains to Workforce data
Partner with EDRM & Risk as well as various 1st and 2nd-line Oversight Teams to support joint-initiatives and projects
Partner with our Risk Advisor on our HR Data Management Risk
Partnering with other LOB consumers to ensure Data Provisioning Agreement requirements are complete and provide transparency into Data Quality activities (this will include collaboration with our DA team to ensure the appropriate reporting is provided based on policy requirements)
Partner with our HR Experience teams to complete needed control activities.
Respond to 2nd-line’s Data Effective Challenges, where applicable to Data Governance
Support Data Audit and MRA remediation, when applicable
Assist with updates to presentations for Leadership, when needed
Serve as DM advisor for our Performing Data Stewards and AEs should they have questions related to Data Management, incidents/ defect identification, or data management policy related questions
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
At least 3 years of process management experience
At least 2 years of experience in Data Governance, Risk Management or Information Data Management Policies
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
1+ years of experience with query execution in Snowflake
4+ years of experience in Data Management
4+ years of experience in Process or Product Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300 for Manager, Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
