In this role, you will be responsible for project management and transformational change in the acquisitions offers area. This will include working across operations managers, software engineers, and product leaders to drive significant and efficient improvements that unlock massive customer potential. You will leverage data to glean insights, make decisions, and communicate to audiences at all levels. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity and engage with Product and Tech leadership to design efficient and effective controls.
On any given day you will be:
Designing, developing, managing, and leading product operations initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements and serving as a subject matter expert
Partnering cross-functionally with internal customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive results
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Distilling big picture intent into pragmatic requirements, priorities, and implementation plans
Intimately understanding the heart of acquisition product operations and represent the voice of that operation to multiple product teams and internal stakeholder groups
Leading developing products, benefits definition, management of changes in the operational environment
Ensuring the day-to-day delivery of key functions required for managing customer accounts while problem solving with the team and key stakeholders
Creating and delivering presentations to senior management. Guiding and influencing senior management discussions and decisions

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Project management or Product management
At least 5 years of experience working with analytical, data management or software engineering teams
At least 3 years of stakeholder or relationship management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree or MBA
6+ years of experience in Project management or Product management
6+ years of experience working with analytical, data management, or software engineering teams
5+ years of experience in Technology Delivery (software or infrastructure)
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
