Key Role Details

  • Full-time new hires for this role will start as a cohort in a rotational program either February 2026 or August 2026. 

  • This role is a full-time associate position within a two-year rotational program, designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of leading talent. 

  • Rotations occur at the one-year mark and allow for hands-on experience in two distinct roles.  

  • Associates who participate in this program may choose to remain in their final role placement upon completion of the program or explore other opportunities at Capital One. 

  • Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program before the start date of your cohort, either in February 2026 or August 2026

As a Data Analyst, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. This role will enable you to build skills that impact the bottom line through a data-driven approach to problem-solving. You will perform as a data pioneer to drive recommendations and implement solutions. You will do this by collaborating with colleagues across business, product, tech, sales, operations, design, data science, engineering, and finance in an environment that values your unique insights, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation. Through our best-in-class analytical practices, you’ll help us quickly identify, build, and test our way to success. 

Data Analyst associates have an exciting opportunity to:

  • Harness cloud-based tools and platforms to explore structured and unstructured data

  • Use data mining techniques to identify fraud rings

  • Test the effectiveness of our marketing channels

  • Use modeling and analytics to understand how business decisions impact our bottom line.

  • Build the data foundation for Capital One’s digital agenda

  • Seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources and platforms to generate customer insight

  • Explore new data sources to enhance models and build solutions that empower analytics

  • Research web activities to drive enhancements to customer engagement sites

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $109,000 - $109,000 for Data Analyst


Richmond, VA: $99,000 - $99,000 for Data Analyst










Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
