Launch your career with our Graduate Programs
We understand grad school is busy, so we created our Graduate Programs to meet you where you’re at while earning your master’s or Ph.D. We offer everything from a 10- to 12-week summer internship in between school years to a multi-year, full-time program upon graduating.
No matter what you choose, you’ll put your knowledge and skills to work creating meaningful products that help our customers. Along the way, you’ll expand your network and find supportive resources that will help you grow.
You can pursue one of four tracks, each of varying length. They include:
Product: We offer a 10-week summer internship or a full-time, one-year program. Either way, you’ll build products that can help millions of customers reach financial success. Recent participants have worked on our platform that authorizes credit cards, a product that protects card transactions and technology that enables signing onto our app.
Data Science: During this 10-week summer internship, you’ll create dynamic models and leverage a diverse tech stack as you work across teams to unlock opportunities that improve the lives of our customers. Previous interns helped create Eno, Capital One’s mobile app assistant; secure ATM transactions and develop the Capital One shopping browser extension and app.
Applied Research: With this 12-week Ph.D-level summer internship, you'll engage in high-impact applied research exploring novel and interesting AI challenges. You'll develop ways to incorporate your findings into the next generation of customer experiences and contribute to the latest AI developments.
Investment Banking: We offer a 10-week summer internship or a full-time, two-and-a-half year program. In both programs, you’ll influence strategy and financial projects, grow with networking opportunities and find mentorship with senior leaders.
