Senior Manager, Salesforce Solutions Architect (Revenue Technology) - Capital One Software (Remote)

Capital One is hiring a skilled Solutions Architect to join our exceptional team of talented technologists within Capital One Software. We have built out a large engineering organization, moved to the cloud, re-architected our applications and data platforms, and embraced machine learning at scale.  Through this journey, we've developed a suite of internal solutions uniquely designed to meet the challenges of a digital-first, cloud-first business at scale.  We also recognize that many other businesses are facing similar data management needs as they accelerate their cloud and data journeys, and are exploring how best to bring some of the tools to market as enterprise B2B software solutions. 

As a Capital One Solutions Architect, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving transformations within Capital One Software. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for designing and implementing Salesforce and Integrated application solutions which span across Capital One Software.

Primary Responsibilities:  

Architecture & Design

  • Own the end-to-end Salesforce architectural strategy across Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud, Marketing, and AI/Einstein use cases.

  • Define data models, integration patterns, API frameworks, and governance standards to ensure a scalable, secure, and future-proof platform.

  • Balance innovation with technical debt management, ensuring sustainable delivery.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor Salesforce developers and admins, instilling best practices in coding, design patterns, and DevOps.

  • Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions.

  • Act as a bridge between RevTech, Platform, and System Integrators, ensuring architectural consistency.

Delivery & Governance

  • Establish and enforce architectural guardrails across multiple Salesforce orgs and connected platforms (GitHub, OnePipeline, Data Lakes, MDM, AI/ML).

  • Oversee CI/CD practices and automated testing strategies for Salesforce releases.

  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and audit requirements.

Innovation & Future Readiness

  • Drive adoption of AI/Einstein, predictive analytics, and RevTech integrations (e.g., Gong, Crossbeam, HG Insights, ZoomInfo).

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experiences and revenue outcomes through technology.

  • Stay ahead of Salesforce ecosystem advancements and emerging technologies.

  • Possess a keen attention to detail and a passion for Architecture, Software Engineering, Technology and Customer Experience

  • Have an intellectual curiosity and interest to maintain and acquire new business, technology and architecture skills

  • Have a background in implementing AI/Einstein features and integrating third-party RevTech tools.

  • Ability to balance strategic architecture vision with hands-on technical delivery.

  • Possess strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience managing relationships with system integrators and platform teams.

  • Have a proven track record of influencing product roadmaps and aligning technology with business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • At least 8 years experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud)

  • At least 3 years of experience in an architectural leadership role

  • At least 4 years of experience designing multi-cloud data models and scalable integrations  (REST, SOAP, Mulesoft, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

  • At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, OnePipeline, Copado/Flosum)

  • ADM 201- Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in enterprise data architecture, API management, and identity/security (SSO, OAuth, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of APEX, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL

  • At least one additional Salesforce certification: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) , Salesforce Application Architect / System Architect, or Salesforce Revenue Cloud Specialist

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location): $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr. Manager, Solution Arch


McLean, VA: $225,400 - $257,200 for Sr. Manager, Solution Arch


Richmond, VA: $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr. Manager, Solution Arch









Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
