Senior Associate, Process Manager IRIS Reporting and Insights (Hybrid)

The IRIS (Incident Tracking | Reporting & Analytics | Influence & Enablement | Strategic Insights) Reporting Team is responsible for reporting, analytics and process consulting across Retail Bank-- including Access, Well Managed, Branch, ATM, Vault, Disputes and Back Office. We are looking for a Senior Associate to manage our day to day, business as usual (BAU) processes. This includes maintenance and modernization of existing reports and processes, creating and maintaining team documentation and related repositories, leading our internal script governance process, oversight of the Jira project board and related reports and managing our team Github repository. This role will also communicate updates to internal customers on new and existing processes and provide internal customer support as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Jira project

    • Own Jira management for projects impacting Team SAFE

    • Own Confluence management of BAU and project related content

    • Manage intake requests via Immerse application

    • Act as liaison between lines of business, data analysts and Team SAFE where applicable

    • Create and maintain reporting, analytics and KPIs for team SAFE

    • Own updates to Monthly Business Review deck for team SAFE

    • Present updates in Monthly Business Review for Team SAFE

    • Complete testing, validations, requirements for BAU work as needed

    • Own document management and creation SOPs

    • Ensure compliance with Script Governance policies and best practices

  • Tableau Dashboard development

  • Github management for processes and scripts as needed

  • Drive results to meet performance expectations

    • Track and ensure metrics and goals are met

    • Address trending / ongoing performance issues through the appropriate channels and escalate as needed

    • Communicate team results to management

  • Recommend, develop and execute process improvements

  • Business Process Documentation

    • With oversight can collect, analyze and measure process data on the effectiveness of business processes

  • Take action on requests in a timely manner

  • Keep leadership informed of important updates or challenges and escalate appropriately

  • Ensure consistency in communications and support flow through the most appropriate channels

  • Focus on team engagement and maintain open communication across all associates, all sites

  • Develop Subject Matter Expertise within role

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • Self motivated and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to provide guidance and support to other associates as a team lead

  • Attention to detail, excellent communication, excellent organizational skills, excellent time management, good technical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of SQL, Google App Script and Tableau

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as professionalism in working with internal associates at all levels and our external partners

  • Excellent problem solving skills

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of experience using Formulas, Pivot Tables, Vlookup, and H Lookup features in Excel or Google Sheets

  • At least 1 year of experience using Tableau

  • At least 1 year of experience using SQL

  • At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management or Risk Management 

  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of reconciliation or accounting experience

  • 2+ years of experience using Tableau or QuickSight

  • 2+ years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond, VA: $78,400 - $89,500 for Sr. Process Manager











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
