Capital One Auto is seeking an innovative and data-driven Senior Associate, Brand Manager to help lead brand marketing efforts for the Auto line of business. This associate will play a critical role in our brand growth and engagement strategy, focused on driving integrated, omnichannel marketing strategies across the dealer journey through always-on marketing activities.
This role requires a proven background in B2B marketing, a proactive approach to becoming a subject matter expert in our dealer offerings, exceptional communication, a creative and explorative mindset, strong data and analytical skills, and a propensity for identifying and continuously driving optimizations. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the brand strategy, creative development process, and compliance reviews of designated marketing campaigns while working closely with creative partners, execution teams, and business analysts. Responsibilities:
Serve as the Brand representative for always-on dealer acquisition and engagement efforts to autonomously drive strategic brand marketing goals forward
Autonomously manage brand-led projects that support the overall dealer Brand strategy and team
Develop creative briefs, work closely with creative partners to bring the business intent to life via compelling marketing deliverables along with facilitating the creative-to-execution process handoff, gaining deep understanding of the nuances of our channel-specific execution systems, processes and procedures
Collaborate with analysts to understand and report on campaign performance and build on analysis to identify new opportunities to optimize marketing, test creative strategies, and segment audience
Synthesize research insights, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve results and Brand impact, coordinating with cross-functional teams
Tell consistent and compelling stories about our products and services, while also championing our Brand and the dealer experience
Influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication
Design, oversee, and improve well-managed processes, identifying opportunity gaps and driving improvements across immediate team and partner teams
Ingrain yourself within the business to help inform decision making and surface key learnings through immediate team and partner teams
This Associate should bring:
An entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven initiative, leadership, creativity, sense of urgency, and drive for results
Omnichannel marketing experience across a broad range of communication channels such as e-mail, direct mail, social, web, trade shows, and print advertising.
The ability to take a forward-thinking, strategic, and organized approach to marketing
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to understand organizational priorities and business goals and how to work together to achieve them
A strategic mindset, with the ability to quickly iterate and pivot based on new learnings to achieve desired outcomes, taking changes in stride
Experience managing creative and marketing execution processes, partnering closely with Brand and marketing team members to achieve desired outcomes
Excellent judgment and prioritization to manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines, and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate work
A passion for leveraging data, metrics, and insights to drive results and turn learnings into actionable implications to form a marketing strategy
A curious mindset, ready to dig in on dealer attitudes, behaviors, and trends and draw implications for marketing
Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation abilities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience focused on direct response marketing, brand marketing, B2B marketing, or corporate communications (or a combination)
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with automotive B2B marketing, automotive lending providers, or automotive SaaS providers
2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications department for a Fortune 500 company, or experience within an advertising or marketing agency

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, BrandCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
