Overview:
The Students & Grads Tech team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top junior talent by delivering a program that communicates our technology innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers. We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager to deliver our college hire programs for our Technology job families in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for attracting, developing, and retaining talent as well as proven experience in leading projects across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will also have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, in addition to laser customer focus and meticulous attention to detail. This role will oversee any initiatives related to Students & Grads Tech.
What You’ll Do:
Liaise with and support recruited Students & Grads Tech program associates to boost engagement and retention.
Act as the main POC, communicating with associates, managers, business leaders, stakeholders, and partners across various levels and functions to ensure program success.
Build and maintain relationships with key program stakeholders to facilitate the job rotation process, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing optimization of the allocation and rotation experiences.
Help to mitigate attrition and increase associate satisfaction and engagement by facilitating the Rotation Exception Application process and the Rotation Relocation process.
Lead development and execution of engagement strategies to build a strong community that strengthens Capital One’s brand.
Prepare incoming managers with updated processes and expectations while fostering consistently positive experiences across all touchpoints.
Work closely with leadership to identify and implement enhancements that streamline operations and elevate the associate experience.
Partner with key program stakeholders to execute signature events, both virtually and in-person, in order to foster community and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
Consult with program council members to implement best practices and provide oversight with event planning and budget management
Own team budget responsibilities including forecasting, tracking, and auditing.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for program events including swag, accommodations, travel, catering, and other external arrangements in alignment with Capital One standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3 year of experience working in program or project management or at least 2 years of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both
Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
Experience with project management
Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working at a technology company
Experience with event management
Experience interpreting metrics and trends
Proficient knowledge of G Suites including Google Slides and Google Sheets
