We are seeking an experienced HR Director, HRBP, to join our local HR Team for Capital One Technology Labs Mexico (Capital One Mexico). Capital One Mexico designs and builds products that are revolutionizing the fintech industry, making contributions to Open Source software and the tech community, as well as shaping foundational platforms.
The HR Director, HRBP, will be a critical part of the local HR Leadership Team, supporting all local leaders and associates, and engaging with the broad Capital One HR community to build an effective HR process for scale and impact. What You’ll Do:
Help provide strategic direction and leadership to the Capital One Mexico HR Team, as part of the Mexico HR Leadership Team.
Consult with the Mexico senior executives, all People Leaders, other HRBPs and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, associate relations, learning & development, etc.) to drive business success by providing thought leadership, and direction, accountable for delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the needs of the organization.
Lead seniorexecutives in translating the business strategy into a talent strategy that embeds and reinforces a culture where associates are seen, heard, valued and have an equitable opportunity to succeed.
Develop innovative and creative solutions with a willingness to push and challenge for transformative work.
Participate in enterprise-wide HR project work, partnering with peers across the organization to create and share systemic solutions to HR challenges.
Help build an effective HR process aligned with the local needs of the organization, under a well-managed framework, and ready for scale as the site grows.
Measure effectiveness of HR strategy and programs to ensure business effectiveness. Leverage data to craft insights that focus intentional action.
Be an inspiring leader and teammate to your HR team and partners, providing focus through vision and prioritization, and elevating your team through coaching and development.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
10+ years of HR client facing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, or Senior Professional Human Resources certification
Experience managing a team or direct reports
