The Enterprise Product and Experience (EPX) team brings together cross-functional experts to help drive Capital One's Enterprise product, data, design, AI, machine learning teams, and build the experience and capabilities for all our associates and developers. Our team:
We are standing up a new team, EPX Chief of Staff & Operations, to increase visibility and prioritization across EPX domains, ensure tight horizontal coordination, and care for our Product Management job family as a whole. This team will be part of the EPX Top of House organization that supports the Chief Product Officer and is able to influence at the helm of our enterprise organization. The EPX Chief of Staff & Operations team will take the leading role in defining and supporting our planning and operations practices, developing our labor and talent strategy, and caring for our community of EPX employees. The EPX Chief of Staff & Operations team will also play a key role in caring for and investing in the full Product Management job family across Capital One, for example, building our product community and engagement strategy, and shaping our product learning & development agenda.
About the role:
The EPX Operations & Experience team is looking for a passionate, energetic, creative, and strategic Community & Experience Sr. Manager to help shape and lead experience and engagement efforts for the Product Community and EPX organization. In this role, you’ll empower and inspire associates via relevant engagement strategies and events, thoughtful communications, impactful hybrid connection, and purposeful recognition programs to empower a thriving organization.
This role is tailored for a high-potential individual with a proven ability to understand the customer (the associates) and their needs, develop end-to-end strategies and roadmaps for initiatives, and partner closely with stakeholders and senior leaders to influence and ensure buy-in. The Community & Experience Sr. Manager will manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment, create inspirational communications and materials, and passionately deliver high-impact, large scale efforts that enhance the associate experience. In this role, you will act as a catalyst for change and innovation, working directly under the guidance of the Community & Experience Lead and other top executives.

Responsibilities:
Build and drive engagement and recognition strategy including developing and leading focused initiatives, formal programs, and identifying new and fresh ways to elevate associate experience and engagement
Support and influence the organization to cohesively communicate in relevant modalities and venues and own various communication channels, including Slack and email, to inspire, include and engage employees.
Lead the execution of organization wide events and leader engagements with a white glove approach and partner with key stakeholders and support to ensure highest impact and engagement
Manage key partnerships, including interacting and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and in multiple organizations to inform and influence outcomes
Confidently lead and drive work forward with the ability to problem solve and pivot in real time, providing clear recommendations and updates in an ever-changing environment
Partner with a highly engaged and motivated team to focus on the highest leverage opportunities as part of the experience strategy that will deliver the most impact to the associates and organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Project Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree or MBA
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
8+ years of experience in Project Management
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
