Card Tech Core organization is at a pivotal phase where we are building new capabilities to enable, innovate, secure and scale our core platform while continuing to make investments in our existing business critical services. We are actively seeking a senior level Analyst who will be responsible for upfront discovery, analysis, and solutioning of new initiatives and operations management.
As a leader in this tech organization, this individual will be responsible for partnering with Product team/Product Owners and Engineering leaders along with Architects to analyze and help derive solutions.

Card Tech sits within the broader Technology organization at Capital One. We work alongside our Business Partners in Card to build Technology that enable their products and services to support Capital One’s customers and applications.
What you will do:
Perform source to target mapping, register datasets and lineage using enterprise tools
Communicate with technical, project, and business resources verbally and through written documentation
Support and perform testing required to ensure successful implementation of solutions into production
Continue to develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of supported business processes and underlying technology.
Position requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written since position’s audience includes technical, project and business resources
Collaborate with other Tech platforms and partners to engineer an integrated, end-to-end support frameworks across technology layers
Establishing cross-training initiatives within the team to provide enhanced automated support capabilities

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4+ years’ experience in Credit Card Processing Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
6+ years’ experience with Total System Services (TSYS) Card Processing Operations.
2+ years of experience with Originations, Customer Management, Collections, and Fraud
2+ years of experience working on integrations
2+ years of experience with automated testing
2+ years prior experience in Python, JavaScript or Ruby development experience
2+ years experience with RDBMS databases, writing SQL queries, and profiling data.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400 for Lead Platform EngineerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
