As a Senior Project Manager for Daily Fee Billing Setup you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, validation, and execution of daily fee billing processes within the settlement platform. This role ensures accurate fee application across multiple transaction types and leads initiatives to streamline billing workflows, enhance automation, and maintain compliance with internal pricing policies and external partner agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Leadership:
Oversee the daily intake, setup, and validation of fee billing forms.
Ensure timely and accurate fee mapping for transactions.
Reconcile daily outputs against internal pricing schedules and partner contracts to ensure billing integrity.
Process Optimization & Automation:
Drive continuous improvement in billing accuracy, cycle time, and audit readiness.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fee setups align with contractual terms.
Serve as the escalation point for complex billing discrepancies and pricing exceptions.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain audit-ready documentation for all fee setups, including contract packets, enforms, and validation logs.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Mentorship & Training:
Provide day-to-day guidance to junior analysts and contractors, reviewing their setups and offering coaching on fee standards and billing logic.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to desk procedures and SOPs.
General Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager you will:
Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-departmental projects that have a direct impact on the company
Drive cross-functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed; manage complex up and downstream project impacts.
Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.
Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
Conduct regular meetings with project team. Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status.
Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
The person will:
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 3 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
At least 5 years of Project Management experience
At least 1 year of People Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Work experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Houston, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Project ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
