Business
Business Analytics
Who you are: With a background in statistics, economics, data science or finance, you pick up complex ideas and generate data-driven solutions. You're ready to apply your technical skill set to real-life problems, working in a team-based environment to test and collaborate on methodologies.
What you'll work on: You’ll join a rotational program where you’ll work on enhancing the experience of our products and improving our credit-decisioning models. You’re ready to build your analytical skills in business consulting and strengthen your background in code and development languages.

Program Length: 2 years
Data Analytics
Who you are: With a deep interest in data mining and Machine Learning fundamentals, you like to dive into data to uncover patterns that reveal meaningful solutions. You’re attracted to the richness and complexity of data and want to see the impact on real customers.
What you'll work on: Demonstrating your ability to leverage large-scale data and advanced analytical techniques to solve business issues, you’ll explore different aspects of data in different roles as part of a rotational program. You’ll build dashboards with Tableau and handle A/B testing, while assessing with Python or R.

Program Length: 2 years
Strategy Consulting
Who you are: You are challenged by undefined problems, driven by finding solutions through collaboration. You enjoy working with a team with a varied skillset to arrive at an outcome. Consulting is something you’re passionate about and you look forward to defining the direction of a company.
What you'll work on: You’ll work closely with a team of like minds and gain confidence in your abilities as a professional leader. This is your chance to develop winning customer experience to drive business. You’ll rotate through three to four projects across Capital One business functions, from strategizing our expansion as a SaaS company to developing our credit card business.

Finance
Who you are: Working for a respected financial institution with the spirit of a forward-thinking tech company is a big motivator for you. Prestigious, challenging and substantive work are important to you to develop your career growth. You’re ready to not only observe and report, but influence strategy.
What you'll work on: You’ll put your analytical skills to the test to forecast revenue and expenses. Working closely with your team, as part of this rotational program, you’ll create forecast and revenue models, preparing reports on segment performance and collaborating with partners to understand motivations.

Commercial Banking
Who you are:You’re the ideal teammate—proactively looking for solutions and driving results. Your goal? Hands-on experience with real deals and real clients. While working on team and individual projects, you want to be immersed in multiple areas of the Commercial Banking business.
What you'll work on: Working as an integral part of the team, you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop a thorough understanding of Commercial Banking and Risk Management. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of relationship management, underwriting and portfolio management, while gaining a unique perspective across Commercial Banking.
Preferred Majors: Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics. All majors welcome
Program Length: 2 years
Investment Banking
Who you are: Equally comfortable with numbers and with people, you’re confident and deliver high-quality work. You have a strong sense of urgency and enjoy presenting to large groups. You also really like to dig in and work on lean teams and you thrive in dynamic environments.
What you'll work on: While creating pitch decks, comp statements and marketing materials, you’ll help close deals while managing relationships. Working directly with clients, you’ll coordinate external materials and other analyses and due diligence for M&A transactions.

Program Length: 2 years
Management
Who you are: You’re a natural born leader. Beyond just taking charge, you love getting your hands dirty and being involved — the more the better. Whenever you had team projects in class, you were right at home. Your creative solutions to problems will help your team drive the business forward.
What you'll work on: In this rotational program, you’ll work in two unique areas in delivery management, allowing you to experience roles ranging from risk management to leadership skill development. You’ll be prepared to take any career path you choose.
All majors welcome. Preferred Majors: Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting or Marketing. Additionally: 3-4 examples of complex leadership preferred

Technology
Technology
Who you are: The intersection of Big Tech and Finance is your home and complex coding problems are your fuel. You’ve done internships at the big tech players and your favorite classes were data structures and algorithms. As an adaptive thinker, you’re ready to make a positive impact in the world of banking.
What you'll work on: While exploring state-of-the-art tools like Machine Learning and AI, you’ll work to drive change for our banking customers. You’ll also gain more exposure to growth opportunities and emerging tech to build innovative tools and solutions that have real impact.
Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering. Candidates must have intermediate to advanced coding experience
Program Length: 18 months
Product
Who you are: As an influencer and relationship builder, you proactively identify problems and potential solutions. In school, you excelled in computer science and management information systems alike. You are motivated by uncovering solutions to improve customer experiences while moving forward impactful projects for the business and our customers.
What you'll work on: Rotating through roles, you’ll lead cross-functional teams working on high-impact projects. Data will drive your decisions. Your products will harness technology to drive innovative and sustainable customer experiences.
Technical major preferred: Computer Science, Management Information Systems. Other STEM or business-related majors encouraged: Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics
Program Length: 2 years
Capital One Developer Academy (CODA)
Who you are: While you didn’t start in computer science, after your first computer science class, it quickly became your passion. You’re an eager learner looking for a pathway to a career pivot. Software engineering and code are your ever-evolving tools for solving problems.
What you'll work on: Mixing classroom instruction and real-world experiences, you’ll code, collaborate and complete programs, all the while building skills to be a technical leader and coding resource. With your non-traditional background, this is an ideal first step into the world of technology.
Open to all majors; STEM majors preferred
Program Length: 6 months
Cyber Security
Who you are: You’re a cyber security specialist who seeks out challenges. Your focus is on infrastructure, network, platform and software security services in the cloud —applying your skills across non-software engineering roles within our core cyber security services.
What you'll work on: Working with a team of cyber professionals, you’ll partner with different lines of business to protect critical infrastructure, data and information. This includes implementing security technology using AWS, Python and more.
Preferred Majors: Cyber Security Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Risk Management
