Powering the customer experience
After building web applications as a freelancer, Javier was looking for a challenge that reached a global audience. Financial services wasn’t initially on his radar—he assumed the work would be limited to maintaining old systems or solving small, local problems. But the moment he stepped into Capital One in Mexico City, he quickly realized that wasn’t the case here. He’d joined a high-energy tech team building massive solutions for the world stage.
Today, Javier’s team works on performance testing, making sure applications respond quickly and reliably as customers log in and complete transactions. Through regular testing, they’re able to identify opportunities for fine-tuning the code, helping customers access their information smoothly and efficiently every single time.
While this work happens behind the scenes, its impact is felt daily for customers. It plays a critical role in making sure everything is functioning how it should.
“It’s been exciting to be part of a team that’s driving progress in building innovative tech,” Javier said. “Seeing that focus pushes me to engage more deeply, challenge myself and keep growing.”
