Our Graduate Programs range from a 10-week internship to a two-year program. Put your knowledge and skills to work innovating new products and creatively solving the problems that impact our customers and our business. It’s hands-on, direct experience that will push you, develop you professionally and grow your network.

We offer positions for full-time students pursuing an MBA with an interest in Business Analytics, Product Management or Investment Banking, as well as students pursuing a master’s or PhD in quantitative fields like Data Science or Data Analytics.

MBA Programs

In our MBA programs, you’ll challenge the status quo, solve customer pain points and inspire big changes right from the start. We offer three programs for MBA students in Business Analyst, Product Management and Investment Banking tracks.

If you’re graduating from an MBA program, our yearlong, full-time program offers the opportunity to join a carefully selected team to tackle meaningful, customer-driven projects, benefit from training, and grow your network.

If you’re between the first and second years of your MBA, our MBA Internship Program is a 10-week summer experience offering a chance to be fully immersed in a team, deliver real results and drive key projects connected to the business.

As a new product manager, I was looking for a program that would be both supportive and challenging, all while creating a lasting impact for consumers. I found that in spades with Capital One, truly homing in on the intersection between human-centered design and innovative tech.
I've found that people are not afraid to challenge the status quo, and that's the biggest thing that keeps me here. There is less 'it's always been done this way', and instead a culture of 'tell me more about how you see it working'.
I've been able to take advantage of a lot of tech-centric learnings, especially due to the company's focus on continuous learning. I've also learned a lot from my fellow colleagues' workshops, from design thinking to product strategy.

Capital One has been very supportive and flexible, caring about employee well-being and mental health during COVID-19. There are initiatives like invest-in-yourself days, which are no-meeting days when associates can focus on personal development and get interruption-free work time. Capital One actively invests in fostering a culture of diversity and belonging for its associates.
It was a half-day event which comprised of four rounds of interviews with the project manager and other associates who assessed various skills. It was a rigorous process, but it was fun working through the questions with the interviewers, getting to know about some of the projects at Capital One, and the company culture better.
Even though we were virtual, the project teams were very collaborative, encouraging new ideas and creativity, which was something I enjoyed. I really enjoyed the different activities put together for our cohort to interact and have fun.

Data Science Internships

Our Data Science Internship Program is a 10-week program designed for master’s students and PhD candidates. You’ll create dynamic models, leverage a diverse technology stack, work across teams to deliver insights and unlock opportunities that help our customers improve their financial lives. Tap into the latest in computing and machine learning technologies to work with large-scale data and cloud-based processing, applying a statistical mindset to your work. During the program, you’ll also have a chance to meet and collaborate with associates across the company to build your professional network.
