Our Talent Brand & Marketing team helps inform and educate candidates, partners and our associates about life at Capital One, our distinctive company culture and values, and our commitments to changing banking—and the communities around us—for good.
We’re looking for a social strategist to help drive awareness of Capital One as a great place to work and engage with prospective talent across new and existing social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We’re looking for a talented teammate who can leverage their subject matter expertise in social, content and communities to inform break-through marketing campaigns, partnerships and associate engagement strategies that help to deliver on our talent brand, marketing and business goals.
About You
You deeply understand the power of social communities, content and campaigns—their ability to engage, influence behavior, change perception, and build reputation. You’re passionate about sparking emotional and impactful connections that create meaningful relationships, and you’re inspired by how social can fuel affinity and advocacy of our talent brand. You analyze data, use social trends and competitor insights, and track campaign performance to inform social strategies. You understand how to spur conversation, interaction and action through full-funnel social activations.

Someone who can bring the data to back up the recommendations—looking beyond what is happening, you'll be able to dig into why and use those insights to drive optimization.
A strategist who can use subject matter expertise and creativity to turn insights into action, creating compelling talent brand social experiences that our candidates won’t be able to resist
A highly collaborative social content planner who can work with our content strategist to localize the overarching talent brand content strategy for social and drive identification of channel-specific content needs to deliver on specific social objectives.
A highly organized and adaptable team player who’s comfortable managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams
Someone who can tap into various candidate-centric perspectives, while also understanding higher-level business and marketing objectives
An advisor and thought partner providing bold thought leadership, expert insight and deep expertise as a consultant for leadership and enterprise partners
Proven experience developing high touch social marketing strategies to support full-funnel marketing objectives
A creative problem solver with the ability to connect the dots across teams and workstreams, amplifying investments and partnerships through coordinated efforts
Act as the voice of Capital One Careers by monitoring and contributing as needed to conversations on our channels
Responsible for the day-to-day community management across our owned social channels
Develop creative ways to activate our audience on social media

Love problem solving and proposing research and data-backed strategies to better understand what needs to be true to attract people from all backgrounds and experiences to Capital One
Feel comfortable communicating with, presenting to and gathering feedback from peers and leaders, including adapting your style based on the audience
Work quickly without compromising quality, knowing that iteration and testing are just part of creating exceptional experiences
Take initiative, aren’t afraid to fail, ask thoughtful questions, and constantly seek better ways of working and communicating
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 3 years experience in social media marketing across organic and paid social
At least 3 years experience measuring campaign performance and social actions directly in platform or with content tools or a combination
At least 1 year of experience analyzing digital ad campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience planning, implementing and measuring the performance of social media programs
At least 3 years of experience analyzing social media channels (including paid), audiences, and performance metrics
At least 2 years of experience in copywriting skills, strong knowledge of social media marketing, event management experience or a combination of all
At least 2 years of experience managing social listening, analytics, and trend analysis or a combination of all
