Principal Associate, Integrated Marketing Strategist (Remote-Eligible)

About the Team

Our Talent Brand & Marketing team helps inform and educate candidates, partners, and our associates about life at Capital One, our distinctive company culture and values, and our commitments to changing banking—and the communities around us—for good.

We’re looking for an integrated marketing strategist specializing in paid media to help drive awareness of Capital One as a great place to work, as well as our performance marketing campaigns. We’re looking for a talented teammate who can leverage research, data and insights to inform breakthrough marketing and media activations that deliver on our talent brand, marketing and business goals.

About You

You understand the power of great branding—its ability to influence behavior, change perception, and build reputation—and you know how to drive results through integrated media strategies. You’re a subject matter expert across a variety of marketing channels and tactics with the know-how to connect the right message with the right candidate throughout their journey. You are experienced in leading integrated marketing strategies across channel marketing, content and inbound marketing, experiential marketing, and influencer-based activations.

As an Integrated Marketing Strategist, you’ll drive the media strategy positioning Capital One as a great place to work and helping candidates understand life at Capital One. Your work will be rooted in research, data and insights about candidate needs and driven by a cohesive approach expressing Life at Capital One. 

What we’re looking for:

  • A paid media and integrated marketing subject matter expert who understands how to tap into the needs and behaviors that influence the journey of a candidate or customer to create highly effective media plans and executions that drive candidate response.

  • Proven experience developing performance marketing and/or brand marketing activation strategies that deliver on business objectives with experience across a variety of marketing channels, including: Paid Social Media, Influencer Marketing, Native Advertising, Search/PPC, Video, Display, and/or Direct-Buy Media Publisher Partnerships

  • A highly organized and adaptable team player who’s comfortable managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams

  • A consultant who concepts innovative campaign activations, and provides expert insight, deep expertise and proactive recommendations to key partners and leadership

  • A creative problem solver with the ability to connect the dots across teams and workstreams, amplifying investments and partnerships through coordinated efforts

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience 

  • At least 4 years of experience developing integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of marketing channels, including: Paid Social Media, Influencer Marketing, Native Advertising, Search/PPC, Video, Display or Direct-Buy Media Publisher Partnerships

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 3+ years experience in leveraging Google Suite products (DCM/Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Trends, Google Analytics) to make campaign recommendations and optimizations to live campaigns

  • 2+ years of experience media buying or planning

  • 2+ years experience working directly with clients (internal or external); conceptualizing, planning and executing exciting results-driven integrated marketing campaigns and activations

  • Experience producing and managing timelines to ensure deadline and budget adherence

  • Agency experience preferred
