Enterprise Products and Platforms Risk Manager

Risk Managers in Capital One's Enterprise Services Risk Team are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.

In this specific role, you will support the Enterprise Products and Platform team. Your mission is to make it easy for product managers to deliver innovative and well-managed products and services to our customers (and to have fun while doing it).  We are looking for critical thinkers who are ready to aggressively challenge conventional approaches in search of better ways to manage risk and partner in the challenge to push product to market.  


As a Risk Manager focused on new product development, you will manage the risk portfolio of a number of new enterprise platforms in varied stages of development. This work includes relationship development with the product teams and our risk partners in a variety of areas.

  • Communicate effectively at all levels

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- 2 years of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
- 3 years of Project or Process Management experience
- 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
- 3 years of Financial Services risk management experience
- PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
- Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams
