We have people from recruiting agencies, fancy consulting firms, and even large retailers. We have associates from Capital One UK and Capital One US and we’re passionate about what we do, and we are looking to welcome another recruiter to our team.
About this Role:
This role will be recruiting professionals with 2-10 years of experience. The people you’ll hire will be leading small teams or individually contributing to our company’s success. You’ll have to find people at meetups, conferences, professional networks, or through referrals. It will be your job to tell them how awesome we are/the special work environment, and then convince them to work here. We get a fair amount of applicants from our roles being posted on Linkedin, Glassdoor, and Indeed, but you’ll also be going out and finding passive candidates to fill our high-value roles. Your internal clients are serious players in the organization. This role, and the people you hire will have a huge impact on helping Capital One Canada drive forward.
You have a ‘can-do’ attitude and you see the best in others. You assume positive intent, and you’re energy is contagious.
You love working with others, but you don’t need your hand to be held. You’re resourceful and innovative and you love finding creative solutions to difficult problems

- At least 2 years of recruiting experience
- At least 2 years of experience sourcing candidates
- Experience working in a recruiting/staffing agency
- Experience working as an in-house corporate recruiter
- Experience hiring data-centric/analytical, or technical talent
