Process Manager

As a Senior Associate Process Manager on the Performance Enablement and Knowledge (PEAK) team, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence to your customer each and every time. The Process Manager Associate will play a key role in delivering processes and insights that impact the company’s bottom line. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management best practices.  

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, professional who excels in a team environment. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. This role requires frequent collaboration with multiple teams in US Card to ensure we are mitigating risk while providing the best customer experience possible to our customers.  

General Responsibilities: 

  • Sustain a Well-Managed/process-driven environment 

  • Collect, analyze and measure process data, to initiate sustainable practices and provide meaningful insight on business strategies

  • Create and validate processes that will support well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for our customers

  • Remediate process breakdowns through solving complex problems

  • Meet regularly with partners to review process performance and discuss improvement opportunities with the right stakeholders 

  • Collaborate on broader process change initiatives and represent department interests; may participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization

  • Partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for process insights and data visualization

  • Leverage effective communication through written, verbal and presentation skills across multiple levels

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree,  military, or equivalent work experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite 

  • At least 1 year of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, R, Spark, SQL)

  • At least 1 year of experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool 

  • At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, or Risk Management 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree OR Military, OR equivalent work experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, R, Spark, SQL)

  • At least 2  years of experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool 

  • At least 2 years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies – Agile OR Lean OR Six Sigma
