Capital One's Card Technology team is expanding in Richmond, and we're looking for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer with a passion for technology, design, and learning to join our team!
For this role, Capital One is looking for a Software Engineer to provide full stack expertise on our authorizations team. We’re looking for eager talent to come onboard our growing team in an effort to build out and streamline our authorizations platform for our card retail partners.
As a Capital One Software Engineer, you'll work on large scale reliable applications that impact the way that Capital One does business. You will participate in the detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using emerging technologies such as: Java, Docker, Golang, Python, REST, JSON, XML, HTML / HTML5, CSS, Serverless, NoSQL databases, relational databases, Chef, Terraform, Maven, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few.
In this Full Stack Software Engineer role you will:

Bachelor Degree or Military experience
At least 4 years of experience programming in Java
At least 2 years of DevOps experience
At least 1 year of experience in a cloud computing environment
1+ year of experience in an AWS cloud environment
At least 1 year of experience with Spring framework
At least 1 years experience in one of the following: REST, WebSockets or gRPC
At least 1 years experience in one of the following QA technologies: JUnit, ATDD, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI and Postman
At least 1 years experience in Agile practices
1+ year experience of Container development experience
