Always starting with the customer, this team is designing self service tools Capital One Associates use to get the best experiences out to customers with minimal use of development teams. The Advanced Platform for Experimentation (APEX) runs digital tests to discover the best in app messaging experiences for our customers. The Digital Messaging Team proactively pushes many types of messaging to customers. The Chariot Platform manages the content supplied to those messages, tests, and more. These teams collectively make up the Enterprise Marketing Technology Group within Capital One.
Being able to work with diverse groups of people and find consensus between product, tech, design and data partners is key to this role. Specifically, You will be responsible for bringing the UX and UI of disparate platforms into alignment. On this team you are uniquely positioned to influence the company’s associate facing digital tools and shape the future of Design at Capital One.

As a designer on this team, you will:
Collaborate with Designers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Software Engineers and other stakeholders create and/or apply design system elements to associate experiences and prototype interfaces and dashboards that make Capital One internal messaging, experimentation and content management tools converge and be easy to understand and use.
Research and design enterprise tool interfaces and iterate on solutions to user problems grounded in data.
Design and iterate and test solutions that visually make tools easier to understand and use.
Apply Design best practices and help establish visual design and interaction guidelines for Marketing Technology tools.
Learn about enterprise messaging, experimentation, and content management at scale and innovate in those areas.
Iterate on messaging and the digital experimentation process at Capital One
Work in Figma to develop and adjust prototypes of platform workflows and content management tools.
Help iterate and prototype UX and UI solutions gathered from internal user interviews and research.
Work with sprint teams to develop and ship the solutions you prototype and validate.
What You’ll Bring:

An insatiable appetite for learning new things
At least 4 years of User Interface Design
At least 2 years of experience UX prototyping
At least 1 year of User Experience Design experience
At least 1 year of Data Visualization/Informational Graphic Design Experience
At least 1 year Interface A/B Testing Experience
Experience doing UX research and facilitating design workshops
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience using Figma
At least some Service Blueprinting experience
