Manager, Associate Facing Services, Workplace Solutions

But it doesn’t stop there. We don’t just reimagine and create fabulous spaces and amenities, we also manage and operate them—we’re a well-oiled machine!


And now, our Workplace Experience team is looking to add a Manager of Associate-Facing Services to manage the associate amenities that make Capital One such an awesome place to work—food, fitness, conferencing, transportation and guest services.  


A typical day in the life of this Manager:

  • Meet with your team in stand-up to check on key projects to  support an inclusive environment and  improve associate service experiences such as a mobile order app for food, home food delivery, or a new virtual fitness service

  • Strategize with team members and third party partners on the different generational and cultural expectations for employer amenities and how to best meet them

  • Connect with our Supplier Management Team on renegotiating a contract for a service such as managing our onsite fitness locations

  • Build out the annual budget for our amenity services or check in with our Workplace Analytics team to review a settlement payout for partner key performance indicators

  • Plan for a successful restart of onsite amenities and services at Capital One Office locations as part of our Return to the Workplace program

You’ll need to wear many hats including:

  • Creator: You’re a strong, autonomous leader who is able to establish a vision for each service and deliver it through our key partners. You’re passionate and care about the associate experience and Capital One’s position as an employer of choice.

  • Diplomat: You’re comfortable and adept with influencing senior leaders across our real estate portfolio and with the partners delivering the services. You thrive in a matrixed environment where direct control is limited and the need to influence is high

  • Fortune Teller: You have the ability to analyze market trends to help the Workplace Experience team understand what workplace amenities and corporate hospitality will look like in 3-5 years. 

  • Project Leader: You’re detailed- and process-oriented, with a natural tendency to identify and mitigate risks. You’re experienced leading several projects and change initiatives at once.

  • Problem-solver: You partner with your customers to understand their intent and goals, develop plans that meet their needs and relentlessly pursue options to deliver stellar results.

  • Juggler: You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You keep track of multiple projects at once and manage your time efficiently and appropriately.

Let’s get down to basics:

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 5 years experience in project or process management

  • At least 3 years experience as a direct people manager

  • At least 3 years experience managing third-party partners

  • At least 3 years experience in customer service management

  • At least 3 years experience working in Agile


Preferred qualifications

  • Proficient in G Suite tools and Jira

  • Hands-on experience in food service or the hospitality industry

  • Design Thinking certification
