HR Associate - Immigration (HR017)
The Immigration Team is seeking a HR Associate that will support the day to day operations of our immigration program. As an HR Associate on the Immigration Team you will have the opportunity to support the day to day operations of our immigration program. This important program provides support to associates who require Capital One to sponsor their work authorization and assists them throughout their immigration journey. The team interacts directly with candidates, managers, sponsored associates and HR partners. This position also works with our external legal partners by partnering closely on cases and immigration processes to ensure compliance with applicable government laws and regulations. This role will help to build upon and strengthen your judgement and problem solving abilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a level of ambiguity when dealing with critical situations. The candidate should also have the ability to communicate with different audiences and have a passion for supporting associates by offering a white glove customer service experience.
Ensures all service level agreements are met/exceeded
Researches and resolves candidate/manager/associate inquiries in Salesforce; create customized written responses along with associate contact via direct calls if needed
Collaborate with partners across HR and external legal partners to resolve time-sensitive issues; identifies and provides feedback to legal partners and internal departments regarding issues/trends
Ability to communicate with different audiences (internal HR partners, business leaders/managers, sponsored associate population, sponsored candidates etc)
Proactively identifies operational and/or customer experience issues, helping to create solutions and implement those changes
Stay abreast of immigration regulatory changes impacting internal processes and policies
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities may shift frequently
Build and maintain positive working relationships with individuals across team
Lead and execute flawless management of project initiatives as assigned
Maintain accuracy and hold customer satisfaction as a priority
Assist with annual compliance activities and audits
Works both independently and collaboratively through projects and day to day functions: ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple assignments or deliverables at once
Provide ad hoc training/presentations as necessary on various immigration processes
Proactively identify team needs, gain buy-in from team members
Highly motivated professional, possessing strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 1 year of of experience in process management or at least 1 year of experience in operations
At least 1 year of experience in Google suite
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of experience in operations
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
At least 1 year of experience with Workday and Salesforce
