Capital One’s Discovery Technology Team provides eDiscovery legal advice, document review and production services for Capital One’s Legal Department. The team also administers the Legal Hold program and guides the process of data collection for ongoing matters. The team works to support not only the litigation department by providing data analysis and review services but to assist other areas of the enterprise with projects requiring data analysis or identification of data trends.
- Assist in initial review for litigation or investigation matters
- Assist in quality control review and redaction review for litigation or investigation matters
- Support project managers on the Discovery Technology team by coordinating review workflows
- Help with assessing and maintaining project metrics
- Analyze project status and assist in determining next steps in projects or workflows
- Work with other process leads on an as needed basis and at the direction of those leads in the following areas: Legal Hold, Document Collection and Document production
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 2+ years’ experience in document review
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- 2 years experience in the use of Relativity for document review
- Proven experience in managing review workflows including initial review, quality control review, privilege review and redaction review
- Ability to utilize Relativity scripts
- Highly organized with the ability to pay close attention to detail
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
