Project Manager-Cyber, Tech and Data Risk

As a Data Architecture Project Manager, you’ll lead multiple critical Data Architecture Initiatives through a Cyber, Tech & Data Risk program within the Financial Services (FS) Data organization and will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, organization, managing, and executing of all aspects of the program. You will work closely with multiple teams across the company to ensure the scope of work, timelines, and impacts of the projects are clear to all stakeholders. 


Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, tracking the progress of each task within projects, and managing risks. You will collaborate with data architects and software engineers to ensure technical alignment across multiple teams. 


You will receive great exposure as you will work closely with senior Data and Cyber Technology leaders, PMO, and FS Data’s Top of House Command Center to bring exceptional reporting, project planning, and execution to the team. This is a rare opportunity to bring a unique mix of technology and data skills, program management, and project management into a single role. With a direct impact on our Data deliverables, this is a role for someone who is detail oriented, a problem solver, and an implementer who wants to contribute and lead on several fronts at once.



General Responsibilities:

  • Work on several large scale Data Architecture projects that have a massive impact on the company

  • Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

  • Identify and communicate key risks and impediments, and problem solve obstacles for key initiatives

  • Lead highly strategic and complex Data Architecture initiatives with passion

  • Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to effectively drive project delivery

  • Lead governance for metrics and reporting of Data organization while identifying ways to improve and streamline business processes

  • Accept accountability, displaying ownership over work and the impact it has on the success of the business

  • Work highly independently with little guidance on the day-to-day running of projects

  • Manage workload of multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Work collaboratively with on-site and remote team members and forge relationships with key stakeholders


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters / MBA degree

  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience

  • Experience achieving results with complex data architecture projects

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma Certification

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

  • Agile tools expertise e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Trello

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
