Communications Manager, Financial Services

Every great brand’s story starts internally – with its values, its culture, its Associates. That great story captures the hearts and minds of many, both inside and outside of the organization. We’re seeking a communications leader who has experience writing, editing and approving internal communications and external thought leadership pieces (bylines, quotes, social posts).

In Financial Services at Capital One, we believe internal and external communications go hand-in-hand. With an amazing employee culture, innovative business strategy and deep commitment to giving back to the community, we have a robust story to share with a variety of stakeholders. The thought leadership strategy for our divisional president is an important part of how we organize, message and distribute this story across channels.

If you’re a strategic thinker, planner and storyteller whose words not only captivate and delight, but inspire others to think differently and empower them to take action, you might be our next team member! We’re looking for someone who communicates concisely but thinks big; a meticulous wordsmith and A+ editor with above-and-beyond attention to detail; someone who uses data to determine the best way to connect with others and in doing so, gets great results.

Who We Are:

The Financial Services Communications team is made up of intentional, strategic and creative problem-solving experts. We proactively deliver innovative, relevant and engaging content in support of our divisional president and his vision.
