Social Media Lead

This isn’t just a job, this is an opportunity to join our Brand, Advertising and Media Team and help us on our journey to continue to grow the Capital One Brand.

You will take the lead in evolving our Social Media Strategy working in our close knit, collaborate team and reporting in to the Marketing Manager.

You will get tons of autonomy to change and optimise the way we do things and work with some well-known, pretty cool agencies.

This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract and can be based in our UK Head Office in Nottingham or our London White Collar Factory office on Old Street.

Here's some of the key responsibilities;

  • Plan all our social media advertising campaigns and performance manage all current campaigns
  • Manage the delivery of social media content through to market with a continuous focus on optimisation
  • Work as part of the brand advertising & media team to ensure that social media is part of an integrated annual campaign plan
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as the content team and acquisition team to share learnings and gather input for content calendars
  • Work with our external agencies and directly with social media platform team to ensure that we are exploring new opportunities
  • Ensure our brand tone of voice and visual identity is consistently used

What experience you’ll need;

We expect you to have experience in leading social media strategy and implementation, and the ability to build great working relationships with lots of different people as your stakeholders will be numerous. Ideally you should have experience of buying advertising yourself or have worked closely with agencies who have done this for you and know how to set up and what a good campaign looks like. You’ll have a creative mindset of course and we’ll be bowled over if you have experience of developing robust KPI tracking metrics.
