Capital One’s Treasury Management Receivables products accelerate the collection and availability of funds critical to the success of our Commercial and Small Business customer base while also providing essential data and information reporting.  Through the use of technological advancements, strategic partnership networks and highly talented associates, we offer solutions that provide our customers greater scale, control and cost savings than can be attained through conducting these services themselves.   

Capital One is currently in search of a Senior Associate to serve as a Receivables Research and Resolution team lead, Treasury Management; Fulfillment Operations. This individual will manage a dynamic team focused on investigating and repairing reported defects stemming from high volume, complex remittance work fulfilled by our external vendor partner.  In addition, this individual will lead the triage of risk issues and events, exception handling, quality trend analysis, and serve as a point of escalation to both internal and external partners.  

Job Description & Ideal Candidate:

  • Provides daily leadership both to direct reports and value chain partners by demonstrating the ability to Empower, Inspire and Include

  • Monitors the daily completion of research and resolution cases related to remittance processing  

  • Maintains a strong controls environment that drives a high level of quality and service level adherence while reducing areas of risk and non-compliance  

  • Works closely with internal and external partners to formulate and install tactical initiatives in order to drive excellent client experiences and well managed processes 

  • Assists in the design and implementation of process improvements and change management activities 

  • Conducts associate training, coaching and mentoring while administering performance management activities 

  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner

  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment 

Work at Home Technology Requirements:

  • A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions

  • A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by using cellular data (hot spot) 

    • Cable or fiber connections are preferred 

    • Internet service download speeds must be at least 5 mbps, with 10+ mbps preferred - check your download speed using a speed test. A sample one can be foundhere.  To test your home internet from your personal computer at home, type www.speedtest.net into the web browser of your personal computer. 

    • Sustained ability to maintain latency less than 250 ms in voice calls is required

  • Hard wired connectivity is preferred, any use of wireless connectivity must be Private (non-public) and password protected through WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption. If you have any questions about your encryption, please consult with your internet provider

    • A private network is password protected where you have ownership or line of sight to every device on the network

  • Capital One reserves the right to request proof of internet provider, speed and service package from the associate 

  • Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology are delivered. Capital One reserves the right to modify internet service requirements with sixty (60) days notice. 

Candidates must live within 100 miles driving distance of one of the hub locations based in Melville, NY

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of experience in Banking Operations

  • At least 1 years of experience leading teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Business Process Management certification

  • 1 year of experience working with Receivable Treasury Management products 

  • 1 year of experience working with regulations and laws of Receivable Treasury Management products 

  • 1 year of experience with Salesforce case management system 

  • 1 year of experience with Google Suite business applications
