Manager, Operational Vendor Oversight, Treasury Management Receivable Operations - Melville, Richmond

Capital One is currently in search of a candidate to serve as a Manager, Operational Vendor Oversight, Treasury Management; Receivable Operations. This individual will be a member of a small team focused on monitoring the performance, change management, invoicing review, and ongoing engagement of key vendor relationships, essential to the fulfillment of our remittance processing product.  This individual will partner closely with Production, Product and Enterprise Supplier Management teams to coordinate vendor relationship activities and assessments.  

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable of contracts associated with vendor partnerships to ensure Capital One interests are protected and represented 

  • Prepare content and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

  • Participate in contract renewal discussions by providing insights and making recommendations for desired service enhancements 

  • Resolve business issues that are identified as a trend by holding vendors accountable to contract terms for quality and service level agreements

  • Acquire subject matter expertise regarding relevant laws and industry practices

  • Develop and maintain procedures for evaluation of vendor risk management assessment 

  • Present executives and internal business units status updates of vendor performance, initiative road map, and change proposals 

  • Attend vendor due diligence reviews on a regular basis in conjunction with Capital One policy 

  • Obtain feedback from internal business units and represent that feedback when engaging the vendor

  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong problem solving skills, documentation skills, 

  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Ability to interact with internal business partners and external vendors in a professional manner

  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in vendor management or contract analysis 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Process Management certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in Finance, Procurement, Account Management and Project Management

  • At least 1 year of experience with Receivable Treasury Management products 

  • At least 1 year of experience working with regulations and laws of Receivable Treasury Management products
