Key Role Details
This is a full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2023.
Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program.
Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within Strategy Consulting, with start dates six months to one year following the completion of the internship.
At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or higher with an expectation that degree will be obtained by August 2024 or earlier
Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship
Strategy Consulting Intern - 2023
The Strategy Group has played a primary role in transforming Capital One from a small startup in 1994 to one of the largest financial institutions in the country. The group is accountable to the CEO and functions as an internal consultancy, partnering with company leadership to solve the industry’s toughest challenges and develop delightful products and experiences for our millions of customers.

The Strategy Consulting Intern Role
Strategy Consulting Interns will have an exciting opportunity to:
Shape the direction of one of the largest companies in the U.S. while developing world-class consulting skills
Work collaboratively on small project teams, taking on company-defining strategic issues and directly advising the company’s CEO and senior executives
Partner with experienced consultants and learn about technology, the financial services industry, and a variety of business functions through projects that typically last 4 months
Advance critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills in an inclusive environment dedicated to professional development
Leverage the expertise of team members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including management consulting, financial services, and entrepreneurship
