Sr. Associate: Video and Audio Content Producer

We are a highly-collaborative internal marketing and employee communications team looking for a video and audio content producer, to bring storytelling to associates in compelling formats that translate in both our remote and ultimately hybrid environments. We sit in Corporate Communications and work closely with Risk Management, Finance, HR, Legal, Audit, External Affairs and our internal communications colleagues across the company. We’re looking for someone who can partner with communicators in conceptualizing videos for executive and associate storytelling, capture and edit content into polished pieces, and bring fresh thinking to how we use videos and audio to keep associates inspired and informed.

On any given day, you will:

  • Work with communications colleagues to understand their video/audio needs and requests

  • Develop creative concepts for video/audio requests and present them to communications and business stakeholders

  • Prepare and manage video and audio shoots and coaching participants in real time

  • Edit and deliver final videos and podcasts (suggest and execute appropriate cuts and splices, balance audio, add graphics and effects, etc.) 

  • Learn new technologies that continually enhance our video and audio storytelling

  • Utilize available metrics to inform video/audio strategies 

  • Partner with graphics team members for any visual support

  • Ensure consistency of produced pieces meet brand guidelines and quality standards

  • Share ideas and best practices within the team 

  • Develop and maintain a general understanding of Corporate Communications and our internal clients, and the way we think about communication strategies to drive high-value products

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years professional video and audio production

  • Located central to the DC/Northern Virginia area with the ability to work on-site in McLean, or Richmond, as needed for occasional video shoots and podcast recording sessions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 Years podcast audio editing experience

  • 1-2 Years experience with in person and remote video/audio production (hands-on experience with OpenReel is a plus) 

  • Experience with video/audio concept development

  • Have corporate, agency or production firm experience

  • A strong portfolio showcasing video/audio work

  • Must be comfortable working in a corporate environment and able to work quickly under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in all industry standard software programs: Video/audio editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition)
