Senior Program Manager - Risk Products (ES Risk)

The Enterprise Services Risk Office is on the cutting edge of risk management and provides support for new and emerging technologies as well as critical business strategies. As a Senior Program Manager - Risk Products on the Enterprise Services Risk Product Team, you will:

  • Collaborate with business partners to understand risk management needs that can be solved through effective, easy to use software solutions

  • Work closely with Product, Tech, Design, and users to identify, prioritize, and deliver on a compelling product vision and roadmap

  • Lead a Product team with a passion for innovation and improving the user experience

  • Contribute to overall organizational success by achieving impactful outcomes tied to our objectives and key results

  • Monitor and analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and future growth opportunities

This role operates within a dynamic environment with changing conditions and a core component of success is building relationships and influencing decision makers with grounded information. In this role you’ll need to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and clear communication.

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

  • A quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinker 

  • Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives

  • Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results

  • Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done.

  • Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical program, process, project management

  • At least 2 years of experience creating communication and presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing

  • 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS

  • 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery

  • 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact

  • Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

  • perspectives and seeks insights from others. Brings energy to the group and rallies them around a common goal
