We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team to support our On-Demand Finance Transformation, primarily working with the OneStream application for Planning and Reporting.
Using technology/finance/accounting knowledge, this individual will drive process re-engineering and technical design guidance for FP&A and Controller teams as we enhance the OneStream application for Planning and Reporting. Working on a cross-functional Agile project team, you will represent the legacy Corporate Planning responsibilities of owning the underlying application, governance, and control supporting the planning processes at Capital One while helping our customers to re-imagine their future state processes and tools in an "On Demand Finance" world centered around automation and on-demand availability of data and results.
Own and drive initiatives and deliver results
Partner with tech teams and customers to design and implement solutions that will enable process re-imagination and change the way we work
Maintain up-to-date understanding of system which includes activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies
Provide timely status and risks updates to stakeholders and POD leadership
This role requires strong leadership, problem solving, technical abilities, strategic thinking, and customer focus skills in order to effectively influence and implement process enhancements and ensure well managed monthly processes.
Partner with FP&A and Controller customers to re-imagine existing financial analysis & reporting processes leveraging OneStream
Work both independently and collaboratively to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
Collaborate in an Agile environment to drive towards process improvements
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
A forward thinking, results oriented, positive attitude is required
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 1-year experience in financial analysis, financial systems, accounting, or financial modeling
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, financial systems, accounting, financial modeling, or forecasting
1+ years of experience with Hyperion software applications (HFM or Hyperion Planning)
1+ years of experience with OneStream software
1+ years of Agile methodology experience
