The Treasury Product Management team is part of the broader Corporate Treasury organization in Capital One’s Finance department. Our product team seeks to empower Treasury associates to deliver critical business outcomes through the development and ongoing support of technology and data solutions. The team consists of Product Owners and analysts for Treasury’s systems and we are at the forefront of enabling key initiatives that provide the company with greater funding, investment, and hedging flexibility.
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to work with the Product Owner and Agile teams in delivering cloud based solutions for the overall business intent through close collaboration with product, technology, agile, Treasury and Finance subject matter experts and internal customers. This role will be responsible for leading the necessary customer interviews and analysis to ground the problems to be solved, running impact analysis, and working with Agile teams to define, test and implement solutions. This is a highly collaborative role, where success requires being able to get into the weeds with the product and development teams, as well as being able to clearly communicate complex technical topics and outcomes to diverse audiences.
Support the Product Owner in prioritization, objectives and key results development, road map development, planning and test coordination
Lead customer interviews and analysis to determine and ground the problems to be solved
Develop empathy and understanding of current data and process challenges
Own the design of configuration changes for Treasury’s systems including Colline, Murex, Summit, Quantum, or Bloomberg
Lead the implementation of sound data management practices such as metadata management, lineage capture, data quality rules development and monitoring as part of data consumption or data publication
Own the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and deployment
Communicate and navigate inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks
Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business teams, various product teams, and enterprise technology organizations
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 1 year of product management experience or product design, or in agile delivery, or in business analysis, or in data science, or in software engineering or a combination
At least 2 years of product management experience or product design, or in agile delivery, or in business analysis, or in data science, or in software engineering, or a combination
At least 2 years of experience working with Fixed Income Securities, or Interest Rate Derivatives, or Foreign Exchange Derivatives, or Credit Derivatives, or Cash Management, or Collateral Management or a combination
At least 2 years of experience working with Murex, or Summit, or Bloomberg Asset and Investment Manager, or Quantum, or Colline, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience in Python, or SQL, or Amazon Web Services, or Snowflake, or Google Suite, or a combination
