The Capital One HR Connected Products team is focused on driving amazing associate experiences through strategic alignment with business and Tech partners. A key component of the team is elevating our Workday platform and we are looking for motivated individuals to help drive our journey forward.
HR Connected Products is seeking a Principal Workday HRIS Analyst with experience in Workday or other HR technologies to support configuration of the Capital One instance of Workday. In this role, you would partner throughout HR to design, build and test solutions based on business requirements.
The Principal Workday HRIS Analyst is also responsible for promoting programs and procedures into the production environment along with testing the software and associated procedures. The analyst ensures that all technical documentation is accurate and current and that all technical matters regarding the application have been addressed prior to product launch. Additionally, the analyst works directly with HR IT partners to ensure system integrations are running as expected.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understands and translates the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
Incorporates human design thinking into solution design
Manages configuration of the Workday system and serves as a subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM
Collaborates with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
Partner with HR IT to support, deliver and test system integrations
Continually researches, tests and stays up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
Maintain up to date documentation and controls for system implementation
Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
Provides production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
As our use of Workday expands, work to develop, review, design, test, implement, and deploy new functionality
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience with Workday
At least 2 years of enterprise system configuration experience
At least 1 year of experience with HR processes
At least 3 years of experience with Workday
Experience working in an agile delivery environment
