As we uncovered new challenges along the way, we built and battle tested new capabilities to meet those needs. We’ve open sourced several of the software tools we built (e.g., Cloud Custodian, Hygieia) and forged new partnerships with other digital leaders (e.g., MSFT).
Through this journey, we've developed a suite of internal solutions uniquely designed to meet the challenges of a digital-first, cloud-first business at scale. The Capital One Software team is exploring how these internal solutions across cloud, data, governance, and applications could serve the needs of other companies born or built in the cloud.
As a Manager, Sales Operations at Capital One Software, you apply your problem solving and analytical skills to major company challenges. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. And you’ll do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
Define key sales methodologies, motions, processes and mechanisms to meet and achieve business and revenue targets
Perform gap assessments to provide insights and recommendations to improve process, product and technology stakeholders to ensure smart business decisions
Serve as a critical business process owner who will monitor sales performance metrics, leverage data to improve business processes and ensure policies, procedures and controls are up to date, followed and effective.
Establish strong governance and well-managed systems to drive towards 100% efficiency
Communicate and partner with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Operate with high levels of independence and autonomy while applying exceptional judgment to critical business decisions; escalate when appropriate
Build and grow associate development, performance, and talent management processes
Assess root cause for issues/escalations to help design remediation plans and determine improvement opportunities including coaching, process changes, communication, training.

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years experience in a customer-facing role in an organizational or entrepreneurial context
At least 2 years experience working with cross-functional teams
Master’s degree in business, business management or other related field.
5+ years experience developing, marketing, selling, or supporting a client-facing technical product or service at scale.
2+ years experience working with senior and executive level customer contacts.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
Demonstrated ability for relationship building and management.
