Manager, Product Management - Card Platform and Services

We are seeking product managers to join our growing Card Platform & Services team which is revolutionizing the way we meet our customers' most critical needs by delivering platform capabilities that unlock real-time, intelligent solutions. These are technically fluent individuals who can work horizontally with many stakeholders, solving complex problems with technology that focuses on real-time, intuitive experiences for our customers’ most critical needs. You will be responsible for cultivating and delivering the vision on a platform that supports the end to end flow of customer investigations, working with many stakeholders to ideate and deliver new to market capabilities, ensuring intelligent logic within the system to drive customer resolution, while maintaining resiliency of the enterprise platform.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitating automated and/or manual resolution of customer investigations surfaced in any channel through a deep understanding of the business need and surrounding technical ecosystem
Collaborate with product, engineering, and customers (internal and external) to create a continuous feedback loop to improve our investigative capabilities
Apply analytical rigor to turn business opportunities into measurable outcomes, that can be leveraged by all
Partner with stakeholders to identify requirements, prioritize high impact platform capabilities, and then translate those needs into iterative features that can be actioned by your engineering team(s)
Drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases
Evaluate and explore new technical approaches to solve customer needs
In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency across four key areas
You’ll define clear and actionable problem statements
You’ll leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development
You’ll drive alignment between stakeholders in the development of acceptance criteria
You’ll own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes
You’ll be able to identify points of leverage in complex problems or systems, and utilize data to define measurable outcomes
You’ll obsess over risks to iterate faster in a well-managed way for the immediate team
You’ll deeply understand and leverage technology
You’ll focus on the end-state architecture vision to partner with technology teams to drive comprehensive design decisions out of white space technical problems
You’ll share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners to establish context
You’ll deliver value by creating reusable, extensible and resilient capabilities

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of product management experience or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City:
$160,200 - $182,800 for Manager, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
