Manager, Audit Practices - Methodology

Audit is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Audit Manager to join the Methodology, Quality, and Training team. This Audit Manager position will serve as a key point of contact managing critical projects across the Audit organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the audit methodology update and enhancement efforts, including conducting research and analysis, socializing all changes, and writing associated policies, standards and procedures

  • Design and execute best-in-class operational processes

  • Develop and execute communication campaigns, providing ongoing messaging and writing support for communicating key initiatives to associates and other stakeholders, maintain key communications channels such as intranet, bulletins, podcasts, and more

  • Manage remediation activities and provide routine status updates to key stakeholders, including Audit Leadership

  • Assist with coordination and execution of quality control reviews, including providing input to planning and testing, as well as identification, development, documentation, and remediation of exceptions related to quality control reviews

  • Partner and liaise with various Audit teams as needed

Candidates should earn the trust and confidence of the Senior Leadership team and develop a macro-level view of the company, department and profession, while taking a pragmatic and action-oriented approach that is geared towards execution and delivery. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in auditing, in communications, in risk management or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Business Administration

  • Certified Internal Auditor,  Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or a relevant certification

  • 2+ years of experience leading audits (performing in the role of auditor-in-charge) or quality assurance reviews

  • 2+ years of experience in Banking or in the financial services industry

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing business communication
