Head of Tech Talent Strategy & Analytics

About the Role:

This is a unique and high profile role that is responsible for helping develop and shape talent strategy for Capital One’s technology workforce. Capital One is a technology company and software engineers are our largest job family. Capital One is undergoing incredible innovation and change and this person will work closely with the senior HR leaders, and senior technology leaders on the future of work in a world of artificial intelligence. This person will work with senior leaders on the D&I strategy for our tech workforce. This role is an opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to develop a vision and leave their mark in helping Capital One retain and grow its competitive advantage in talent, amidst a disruptive external environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to shape talent strategy
  • Leverage data and analysis to solve complex business and talent problems
  • Lead and inspire a team of analysts to build products, and develop analytically-based insights and policy recommendations
  • Influence partners and key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong strategic, white-spacing thinking  

• Strategy consulting background could be helpful 

• Superior problem solving skills (both analytical and conceptual), strategy development and strategic influence, people leadership, ability to learn quickly, and a passion for solving talent-related topics
