Job Description

This is your opportunity to join the Growth team of Capital One’s fast-growing consumer app. We’re focused on scaling our products to millions of customers and refining the experience to create a product that customers can’t live without. We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead an agenda that will supercharge user growth. You will have the opportunity to drive industry-leading strategies across a suite of digital marketing channels, building breakthough experiences in user acquisition, onboarding, and engagement.

 To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded 'business athlete’ - an analytical and creative problem solver who understands different business models and the tech landscape, and a dynamic leader in complex cross-functional environments. You are thoughtful, resourceful, results focused, a self starter,  and have demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to drive the growth and success of a business.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on internal tooling and operations related to user growth

  •  Identify, prioritize, and launch innovative customer experiences designed to drive user acquisition, onboarding, and engagement

  • Establish as 12+ month roadmap to win with prospective and existing users, advancing Capital One Shopping’s strategic & competitive position 

  • Drive product development and ideation in partnership with marketing & analytics teams

  • Relentlessly pursue results by establishing a business model based on fundamental drivers and following the data

  • Build an exceptional product team to drive progress in multiple arenas


Who We’re Looking For

  • You love to ship product and projects that drive impact and business value

  •  You enjoy teaching yourself new skills and driving whatever aspect of a project is needed to succeed

  • You’re highly analytical-- not afraid to pull your own data & adapt your strategy based on new information

  • You have a passion for coaching and leading teams

  • You have an affinity for the fast-paced, changing environment of a start-up, a positive attitude, and a get-it-done personality

  • You thrive and help set the pace in a company where the people around you have an exceptionally high level of drive and commitment; you wouldn’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and lead an occasional late-night work session to help your teams succeed

  • You take personal responsibility for the productivity and results of any team you are a part of

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

- At least 5 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field 

- 7+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
